Construction Laborer- civil site work

Braun Construction has an immediate opening and is looking to hire a Construction Laborer for Civil Site Work. Experience with general labor required. Pipe laying experience in water, sewer and storm repair and installation preferred but not mandatory.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform construction duties as part of a team
• Safely operate power and hand tools
• Set and check grade
• Shovel and grade trenches
• Operate plate compactor or jumping jack to compact rock and soil
• Regularly lift 50 lbs
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, and stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions
• Opportunity to operate equipment depending on experience
• Assist in setting up traffic control

Qualifications:

• Must have valid license and clean driving record
• Self motivated team player with a positive attitude
• Demonstrate ability to manage time well and to multitask
• Ability to pass drug test and driver’s license background check
• Reliable transportation to drive to jobsite or drive company vehicle
• Applicants must have ability to work in all weather conditions.

Pay: $25.00 – $43.26 per hour
