Construction Project Manager Job at LPR International – Tampa, FL

LPR International is seeking a goal-oriented Construction Project Manager for residential work to support our client. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The person in this position will oversee construction and remodeling projects to make sure the project is done on or ahead of time and on or below budget and will be responsible for organization, safety, and communication on the job.

Responsibilities:
Communicates clearly with technicians, office, and clients

Should happen regularly and efficiently. We want things addressed before they become a problem.

Reliable and on time

Has a high personal standard and sets a high team standard

Plans and prepares well for each job and each day and communicates this respectfully with the workers, office, and clients

Schedules the right worker for each job and follows up with the workers to make sure they have the right training, tools, and materials for the job

Monitors cost, keeps costs low, and communicates clearly costs that will need approval.

Daily Duties

Morning Duties

Meet with people on the jobsite and assign tasks and materials for the day. Should largely be planned out and potentially communicated the day before.

Afternoon Duties

Be available throughout the day to respond to the workers, office, and client.

Evening Duties

Schedule activities/tickets for the next day

Monitor spending and confirm budget and scheduling tracking with the office.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Project management, Business, or related field;

Proven ability to manage complex budgets and schedules;

Ability to work independently and establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals with whom interface is required

Environmental:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Ability to stoop, reach, bend, twist and carry equipment.

Ability to work in hot, cold, or uncomfortable areas.

Ability to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Ability to employ hand dexterity in the use of equipment.

Ability to handle moderate-loud noises typical of an office or industrial setting.

Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.

Salary range plus bonuses based on performance and number and size of projects successfully managed. Successful project managers who proactively manage their projects earn more than $100,000 with bonuses.
