FP&A Senior Manager Job at DesignTechnologies – London
We are building a turnkey SaaS solution that enables brands to digitally transform their businesses, and empowers them to take orders from their diverse customer groups (businesses, designers, consumers, resellers), online.
Recently acquired by US-based unicorn Material Bank (the marketplace for searching, sampling and specifying architecture, design and construction materials), which has raised over $150m in funding from the world’s leading VC firms, we have ambitious plans and are searching for an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to be a key member of our Finance Team, reporting to the VP Finance, with significant exposure across the company.
The FP&A Senior Manager will be responsible for a wide variety of analytical and planning tasks, including annual budgeting and budget management, financial modeling, defining and monitoring key metrics, and other ad hoc analysis. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role that requires candidates to have strong communication and people skills as well as a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Participate in the monthly rolling forecast process and proactive analysis of how the company is trending toward the achievement of OKRs
Build detailed financial models and deliver insights that inform key decisions impacting growth, investment, and profitability (e.g., LTV, CAC, cohort retention, cash flow, unit economics)
Own monthly processes to monitor progress against goals and evaluate budget variances to ensure a clear understanding of factors influencing our financial position and key metrics
Participate in the creation company-wide and executive-level presentations and communications
Support and drive the implementation of new processes and technology
Work closely with accounting and other departments to drive the process, data collection and reporting across the organisation
We’re looking for someone with:
Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in FP&A for a high-growth startup, investment banking, or other corporate finance roles
Advanced analytical skills and mindset, including expert level Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience managing quarterly forecasts and annual plans a plus
Outstanding presentation and strong communication, ability to interact with levels of the organisation
Willingness to act as a business partner to support teams throughout the company
Self-starter who can thrive in a fluid environment
Able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
